Curriculum Vitae

Bernhard Hölzel, born 1980 in Nuremberg, completed a teaching degree in English and Geography (for grammar school-level teaching) in Erlangen. After his second State Examination and working for a period as a teacher, he moved to the Language Center and ZIEW (since 4/1/2017 Center for Applied Philosophy of Science and Key Qualification, ZiWis) as an examiner for teaching degrees and research associate for various projects. As a qualified learning advisor and certified GFL/GSL teacher, one of his special duties is to advise international students and new students on learning languages. He mainly teaches English for language teachers at the Language Center as well as at the Chair of Teaching Foreign Languages. In addition, as senior lecturer he coordinates joint projects at the Language Center and throughout the University in the areas of personnel development and internationalization of the University.
